Tahoe is a four-door, seven seater sport utility vehicle, which is available in 2 trims -4×4 to 4×2.

Under the Hood

It is integrated with a powerful motor with Vortec 5300 V8 engine. With a base price of $51,970 for 4×2 model, which is integrated with 6.0 liter, eight-cylinder engine, it achieves a gas mileage of 20 mpg in city and 23 mpg on highways.



The name Tahoe arrived in the year 1995, replacing one of the Chevrolet variants “Blazer Badge”. The-then Tahoe was powered by a massive 5.7 litre V8 engine. In the later version, General Motors added airbag for driver with luxury equipments, which were delivered during the same year for its customers.

During 2000-2006, Tahoe offered many options i.e. 4.8 liter V8 engine or 5.3 litre V8, which was distinguished only in terms of horsepower. Its availability in rear and four wheel drive along with efficient towing capacity was also on high talk.

The 2013 version will be smooth, more efficient, and comfortable when compared to its rivals; its powerful engine and efficient towing capacity is an added advantage. Due to its massive size, it will not be a favorite for those who like smaller vehicles.



It has been revealed that the automaker is planning to launch the base model with a price tag of $38,755 which is quite affordable. The top end will be all yours for $56,075.
